Kelly Kendall-Jones

Kelly Kendall-Jones is a Career Development Consultant within the Curtin Careers team. She joined Curtin in 2020, leaving behind a lengthy career as a teacher and career counsellor in the secondary education system. Growing up in Canada, she never imagined she would move half way across the world in 1996, but after 25 years in Perth, she can’t imagine living anywhere else, even if it’s taken her that long to understand Aussie slang!

As for the differences between working in the high school setting to a university environment, she maintains the end result is the same; feeling a deep sense of satisfaction in assisting students in realising their goals and aspirations, one individual at a time. And if they know anything about ice hockey, that’s an added bonus.
