Tronox mines and processes titanium ore, zircon and other materials and manufactures titanium dioxide pigment, products and chemicals. Our products add brightness and durability to paints, plastics, paper and other everyday products In April 2019, Tronox integrated with Cristal to create the one of the world’s largest titanium dioxide producers. We are vertically integrated, meaning we manage the whole value chain – we mine and process mineral sands, produce TiO2 pigment, manage the supply chain and logistics and market directly to our customers. We have operations on six continents, 7000 global employees, with 1300 employees across Australia. Our Western Australian operations include:
- Cooljarloo Mine
- Wonnerup Mine
- Chandala Mineral Separation Plant
- Northshore (Bunbury) Mineral Separation Plant
- Kwinana Pigment Plant – 150kMT capacity
- Bunbury Pigment Plant – 110kMT capacity
Although we are global in scope, Tronox operates with a local mindset. We are proud to continue our long-term community partnerships, including the Fremantle Dockers AFLW, Perth Zoo, a robust apprenticeship and traineeship program, university scholarships, and a number of local schools and community groups. As we commence a program of business transformation incorporating leading edge technology and world-class processes, we are looking for bright and brilliant people to join our team.
