The Communications Council is the peak body representing agencies in the marketing communications industry to media, government and the public. The Council creates a footprint across the increasingly integrated world of creative, digital, healthcare, design, direct marketing, promotion, PR, plus creative production companies and strategic planning consultancies.

We help grow member businesses and develop individual careers through the provision of professional development services, advocacy and support.

As the marketing communications industry’s not-for-profit peak body, the Council encompasses over 4,500 individuals from more than 200 agencies and consultancies. The Council has a corporate and individual membership structure.

Opportunities for Students:

Curtin University is the premier member of The Communications Council’s Education Network. Over the year TCC presents 10 lectures providing insights into a career in communications. Find out more by contacting the School of Marketing.

The Graduate Program has been designed to meet the needs of the Perth market. Strengthened by the Education Network together these programs align the Communications Council with leading tertiary institutions to ensure we attract the brightest to our industry.

The Graduate Program is a total of 20 weeks divided into 3 stages:

1. Engage – register, answer a brief
2. Learn – some practical stuff that is relevant to the first 1-3 years of your career
3. Experience – get paid to experience 3 months with one of the 7 agencies within the program.
