Protect our future. Be Planet Positive.
The greatest challenge of human existence is upon us: the planet is suffering and the consequences for present and future generations are profound. Tackling climate change, waste generation and the loss of biodiversity is the responsibility of every person.
Students have told us they want the skills, knowledge and opportunity to positively effect change for the future of our planet which is why Curtin has launched the Planet Positive Program.
Curtin students can choose to study the Planet Positive undergraduate certificate or the specialisation.
The Planet Positive Program will comprise of:
- The Qualification: an undergraduate certificate or specialisation made up of four units including the Sustainability Challenge
- The Learning Community: extracurricular activities including field trips, forums, industry engagement opportunities, and fun, which will connect students with each other and industry
- The Scholarship: students can apply for a scholarship to help with the extra costs associated with the program. Each scholarship is $6,000, with $5,000 going towards unit fees and $1,000 towards costs associated with the Learning Community
