Changing the game

Do you want develop the skills and tools to thrive in the future world of work and lead positive change? Interested in building connections with a diverse range of people and developing new friendships? Keen to connect and learn with others who will inspire you to reach your potential, while having fun?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, keep reading!

Co-designed and facilitated by students for students, the Game Changers workshop series is for all students, from first year to postgrad.

Each week you’ll explore a new topic through a range of engaging and interactive activities, that will boost your confidence and agency in a safe learning environment that is inclusive, embraces diversity, and celebrates individuality.

Hear from some of last year’s Game Changers about how these workshops had a positive impact on their lives and their university experience…

“So the Game Changers series is a suite of workshops. It aims to help Curtin students develop different areas of their life such as leadership, self-development, self-growth, and allows them to kind of start exploring and thinking about changing the game in their own way.”

“It’s developed by students for students, so it really incorporates that student perspective.”

“In uni, you do need to socialise. [Game Changers] does make it so much easier and bearable to be able to meet different people, and you never know – it will surprise you. So, I guess like what Alisha says, just attend one and I promise you, it will be the best thing ever.”

In the words of one of our previous participants ‘If you are thinking about attending, then just go for it. Take the leap, just come to one and from there, just get out what you put in.’
