Do you have what it takes? Are you an aspiring leader aiming for beyond C-Suite status in the future? C-Suite being anything Chief – Exec positions such as Chief Info Officer, Chief Financial Officer, etc. Or are you ready to lead now and get to the heart of what it’s all about – driving change?
Do you think you’ve already demonstrated leadership skills before coming to uni or in your early uni years? In the workplace in a position of responsibility over others perhaps? Or as part of a sporting team as a role-model/leader/coach or umpire? As a volunteer going the extra mile for a non-for-profit or NGO? Generating innovative start-up ideas and getting things off the ground? Being awarded for something fantastic?
If you’re nodding to any of the above, then John Curtin Leadership Academy (JCLA) might be of interest to you. Alumnus from this program have gone on to great things with interesting jobs all over the world! Their common denominator is in wanting to do good for communities and do it with flair. Plus, there’s the opportunity for some great training, making lifelong friends and meeting inspired people along the way.
Like Greta Thunberg, are you ready to make a positive change in the world? Participants in the program partner with not-for-profit and for-purpose community partners on projects that deliver real-world solutions to social problems.
Applications include concisely responding to 5 or 6 questions demonstrating your previous or current community experience, any involvement in leadership programs, leaderships skills you’ve already developed, and what your understanding of JCLA is and how JCLA might kickstart your own ideas for change.
Be inspired and be quick! Applications are limited, open only once a year, and they’re closing on Thursday, 26 September.
