Welcome to all Curtin newbies starting this week! It’s the beginning of the new semester and there’s so much to get your head around. You’ll probably be spinning with all the extra stuff you can now access. One thing you can be sure of, there’s plenty of help around and loads of interesting extras you are able to get involved in while you study.

Managing your time in these first few weeks can be overwhelming but, once you’re organised, we’d just like to quickly introduce you to our online careers and leadership modules on the Curtin Challenge platform. They’re quick, access anytime and anywhere solutions to enhancing your employability and leadership skills.

On the careers and employability front, we’ve got some great modules revolving around exploring (self-assessment), applying (all things job applications and interviews) and growing (professionalism/workplace/emotional intelligence). And, let’s face it, this is handy stuff. It might seem an age away now but you’ll be aiming for that grad position in the not so distant future.

On the leadership front there are 11 modules ranging from Leadership 101 to Project Management and Community Impact.
