If you procrastinated your way through tuition free week, and have now realised you need some help getting organised, we’ve got the workshops for you.

This week’s professional skills workshop is ‘Decision Making Strategies’, while Curtin Leaders Program is looking at ‘Project Management’. If you’d like a more organised approach to your professional networking, we’ve got workshops for that too.

Decision Making Strategies | Tuesday 5 September | 300.217

We all encounter complex decisions throughout our lives. How can you ensure you make decisions with confidence? This module will help you become of aware of what drives your decision-making process and can assist you to make informed decisions.

Project Management | Wednesday 6 September | 403.101

Much of the work you undertake at university or in the workplace can be seen as a project. Understanding the key concepts and processes of project management will help you manage these projects more effectively, and reach your desired outcomes.

Stop Googling, Start Networking | Thursday 7 September

70% of jobs are not even advertised, so how do you find them? This module will help you understand the hidden job market, focusing on activating your networks both online and in person. You will uncover what type of job seeker you are, how to identify hidden opportunities and successful networking secrets.
