No sooner are you back, but you’re off again on a tuition free week…it feels like this semester is flying by! We are taking a break from our workshops this week, but we are still open so you can contact us with your career-related needs. In fact, the tuition free weeks are a great opportunity for you to update your resume, source some work experience or research ways to boost your employability.
If you do happen to come on a campus, here are a couple of events that you might want to check out.
LinkedIn Profile Review | Wednesday 30 August | 407.204
CBS students, make sure you drop by room 407.204 from 12:00pm to have your LinkedIn profile reviewed by one of Career Development Consultants. We offer this service every second Wednesday so if you can’t make it this week, pencil it in for two weeks time.
Careers Evening for Housing Students | Thursday 31 August | Guild House
Housing students, we are hosting a careers evening for you! Are you interested in finding part-time, full-time, work experience or anything in between? Would you like some tips on how to make your resume stand out? Or do you feel that you could use some support to become employment ready?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then come to the Careers Skills Workshop to speak to a Career Advisor from Curtin Careers, Employment & Leadership, who will show you how this can help improve your chances of finding employment. All residents are welcome.
