Another week of winter done and we’ve finally seen some sunshine. One of our team is trying to escape the cold by heading to Kalgoorlie to host some workshops for our WA School of Mines students. For the those of us stuck rugged up in Perth, we have workshops on cover letters, selection criteria and goal setting, as well as several employers visiting us on campus.

This module will help you understand what to include in your cover letter, how to promote your skills and experiences, and how to connect with different employers.

Stop procrastinating and start kicking goals. Goal setting and effective time management are important life skills. Explore how you can become more effective at setting meaningful goals, using frameworks such as SMART goals, as well as exploring strategies for planning, prioritisation and overcoming procrastination.
