AAGE’s top intern programs for 2017

Move over Paula Hawkin’s new page-turning thriller, the holiday reading you really need to do over your break is the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) annual Top 40 Intern Programs list – released today!

Congratulations to ShineWing who took out the number one spot! The top ten were:

  1. ShineWing
  2. Gallagher Bassett Services
  3. Auditor-General’s Department – SA
  4. Atlassian
  5. BP Australia
  6. KordaMentha
  7. AngloAmerican Metallurgical Coal
  8. Woodside Energy
  9. Commonwealth Bank of Australia
  10. KPMG

You can view the rest of the list here.

AAGE conducts an annual survey of interns who have been part of a formal internship program, and asks them to rate their employer against 15 different criteria including induction and training, content of work, quality of supervision, access to senior management and feedback on performance. The ratings are then combined and used to produce the list.

It is a completely independent process, documenting the actual experiences of students who have completed a work placement with these employers.

And if you are looking for an internship or work experience placement, make sure you mark the Work Ready Careers Fair on Wednesday 9 August in your calendar for Semester Two.

Happy reading!
