We know the first week of semester is a busy time for everyone, but it also happens to be the best time to start applying for graduate programs.
This year’s Careers Fair will see over 100 employers visit Curtin Stadium (Bentley Campus) on Thursday 2 March, 11am – 2pm to meet students, promote opportunities and provide invaluable advice on graduate employment.
You’ll have the rare opportunity to meet grad recruiters one-on-one in a relaxed environment and attend tailored workshops to receive invaluable application and career advice. In addition to this, Career Development Consultants will be available throughout the day to help give personalised advice on resumes, career direction and planning, and key career development programs such as NEXT STEP: Industry Mentoring, Curtin Leaders Program and the Curtin Employability Award.
Whilst the event is particularly beneficial for final year students, we also greatly encourage all students to pop down. Enhancing your employability and maximising career success involves understanding where to source opportunities, how to put forward a competitive job application and how to build meaningful experiences and networks that allow you to progress towards your career objectives. And it’s never too early to start!
