What’s On: 7 – 11 November

If you need a break from your exams or final projects, here’s our schedule of workshops and events over the week. The events are designed to enhance your employability, gain industry insights and build your professional networks.

This will be our last ‘What’s On’ for 2016. See you all again in 2017!

Love Wins: Jim Obergefell
Monday 7 November | 3:00pm – 5:00pm | Bells Functions, Barrack Street, Perth

Curtin University, in partnership with Affirm Press, Pride WA, KPMG and Herbert Smith Freehills, invites you to attend an afternoon with civil rights activist, Jim Obergefell. Jim will share insights from the epicentre of the legal case for marriage equality and his new book ‘Love Wins’, followed by a Q&A session with light refreshments and book signing.

This workshop takes you through how to organise your thoughts and notes, work through multiple choice tests as well as exam papers, improve your memory skills, use your adrenalin and control your anxiety, and maybe even enjoy the experience!
