2016 Curtin Careers Fair

February 20, 2016 by Curtin CEL Team

2016 Curtin Careers Fair

We know the first week of semester is a busy time for everyone, but it also happens to be the best time to start working towards graduation goals and applying for grad programs.

This year’s event will see over 70 employers visit Curtin Stadium (Bentley Campus) on March 3, 11am – 2pm to meet students, promote opportunities and provide invaluable advice on graduate employment.

You’ll have the rare opportunity to meet grad recruiters one-on-one in a relaxed environment and attend tailored workshops to receive invaluable application and career advice. In addition to this, Career Development Consultants will be available throughout the day to help give personalised advice on resumes; career direction and planning; and, key career development programs such as NEXT STEP: Industry Mentoring and the Curtin Employability Award.

Whilst the event is particularly beneficial for final year students, we also greatly encourage all students to pop down. Enhancing your employability and maximising career success involves understanding where to source opportunities, how to put forward a competitive job application and how to build meaningful experiences and networks that allow you to progress towards your career objectives. And it’s never too early to start!
