GradConnect 2016

June 5, 2015 by Curtin CEL Team

GradConnect 2016

Many final year Nursing and Midwifery students will choose to apply for a Graduate Program through the Department of Health’s GradConnect one application process. Here, you can submit just one application putting forward your preferences for the hospitals you want to work at. Applications open on 1 July and the process is pretty swift after the closing date – interviews are held only a week or so after.

If you haven’t prepared yet, Regina Browne, Senior Nursing Officer with the Department of Health offers excellent advice on to help you through the application process and, hopefully, be offered a place. For more detail, view slides below and check out the Department’s Graduate Handbook.

If you aren’t successful, don’t despair, there are others ways of getting onto a ward. Look out this week for our post on recent graduate stories from the Graduate Panel and watch the Lesley Kuliukus video for additional advice.
