Working with PwC

PwC is one of Australia’s leading professional services firms. Having grown from a one-man Melbourne accountancy practice in 1874 to the worldwide merger of Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand in 1998, PwC Australia now employs more than 6,000 people. Their team are energetic and inspirational, coming from a diverse range of academic backgrounds, including arts, business, accounting, tax, economics, engineering, finance, health and law. In the lead up to the Careers Fair, we’ve been lucky enough to get some quick insights from PwC’s Rebecca Ensley.

What they look for in grads…

  • Someone who can build relationships
  • Business acumen
  • A global perspective
  • Strong technical capabilities

Getting the most out of a Vacation Program…

Individuals who embrace our values and culture tend to be real stand outs in our Vacationer Programs. The best way to do this is to spend as much time as possible with people in the business rather than just your Vacationer Peer Group. By embracing the PwC team, you will truly understand your Business Area and the culture of PwC to better be able to determine if we are a good fit for you, just as we are determining if you are a good fit for us.

Career paths with PwC…

Because of our global network and expertise, we can offer students a wide range of opportunities in a variety of areas no matter where their interests lie. PwC works with a wide-range of clients, from start-ups to large global organisations, as well as government and not-for-profits. Our dedication to societal relevance allows our colleagues to have an impact on their communities. Some of our team members spend their entire career becoming experts in one areas of the business, while others move in to different areas to hone new and different skills sets. The possibilities are endless to realise and discover your potential.
