Gaining relevant experience is critical to your success when applying for jobs after graduation, and vacation programs are just one of a number of ways to gain valuable industry experience before you graduate.
Vacation programs and internships are available during summer and winter breaks, and are targeted towards students in their second-last year of study. These internships are usually full-time, paid and include training and supervision.
Participation in these programs can greatly improve your chances of future employment as many industries use past vacation program participants as sources for graduate employment programs and junior positions. Better yet, you may also be able to use your vacation experience for course credit!
